Photography Class at Tamahi Creek
We went out to Tamahi Creek in Chilliwack today. It's GORGEOUS out there. I'm not a big "nature photography" fan but I managed to suck it up long enough to get a couple shots worth looking at, in my opinion anyways. As it says above, click on the picture to get a better look at it.
Next week, we're at the Zoo here in Aldergrove. Should get some good ones then!
Thanks for looking!!

My Second Internship Wedding!
Photoshoot with Maisie!!
I know Tys!! You said no naked shots on the blog... but this one was sooooo precious... how could I resist?!?!? hee hee!
I went over to the St. James' today and did a little shoot with Maisie J! She is such a sweetie and so tiny!!! Boy do I realise how much I am still learning when I go and do these shoots. But a few turned out alright. Hopefully I'll be able to go back and take some more in a month or two.
So here she is! Enjoy!!

Little Tiny Baby Parts
Photoshoot with Logan!
This is the proud Papa with little Logan... and that term is not lost on him... he is so taken with this little guy. It's really sweet to watch.
And here's Mommy with Logan. This little guy is so lucky. He's got two wonderful parents who love him more than anything!
This pic was exposed wrong... but I just didn't have the heart to get rid of it. It's just too sweet.
My friends are offering up their babies to help me learn and so I had my first new born shoot Wednesday. Here he is... the star of the show! These pictures don't do him justice... he's just a sweet sweet adorable baby!
First lesson learned: NEVER EVER under any circumstances EVER bring your own children to a photoshoot. EVER!
It was hectic... but I managed to get a couple decent ones. Enjoy!

Welcome Baby Maisie!!
Our friends Tyson and Lisa had their second baby (first girl!!!) last week! Maisie Jillian St. James is just GORGEOUS! She's got the same dark hair that her big brother, Carter, had. She's such a doll... I can't wait to go and take some cute newborn shots of her. We went over to visit her on the weekend and I got some starter shots... enjoy!
Congratulations Tyson and Lisa!!

My first Homemade Tutu
I made my first tutu today and Ash LOVES it! She put on her ballet slippers and danced around our deck... she kept asking me if she could go outside and do some "balleting".
And because I made it for her, I used it as a bribe to get her to pose for me. She actually did... a little!
My Ash is such a girlie girl! We can't wait to get her in ballet this fall. I'm sure the blog will be FILLED with pics of it! LOL

More from Sechelt...
This is Jess and Gord's new dog, Bentley. Funny... I, not being a HUGE fan of dogs (especially little sketchy ones), think this dog is kinda cute and loveable.... Jess can't stand her! Go figure!
Jess and Emme shared quite a moment at the beach... I've got at least 4 or 5 shots of them having a lovefest... too cute!
These are Emme's feet in the sand... gotta love "feet in the sand" shots!!
And this is just me trying to be all creative and insightful and stuff... I'll get better, I promise! heehee!

Experimenting...
So I've been playing with Photoshop quite a bit lately and it's really challenging trying to figure it out... that is one in depth program! Maybe after I'm done with all my photography courses, I may just take a Photoshop course to really learn the ins and outs.
Here's a few quick shots I took of Ash at Grandpa Ian's this week.

My First Internship Wedding!!!
This was at the hotel was she was getting ready. Her maid of honor was lacing up her dress and the whole scene was just like something out of a movie... I must have taken 50 shots of just that.
Their pictures were done at the Chilliwack Museum... with architecture like this, how could you even shoot a bad photo??
This was a totally natural moment... I just looked over and they were hugging... SNAP!!
On Saturday I came along to a wedding that my photography instructor was shooting. He was kind enough to offer to teach me on site. Wow! It was amazing... I couldn't have learned more than being able to do it hands on.
The bridal party was the perfect group to learn on. They were young, fun and just looking to have a good time. I didn't get many shots (I was mainly taking notes) but I got a few... enjoy!
Ps. My first wedding is May 20th. I do this one ALL BY MYSELF!! WOOHOO!! I'm looking so forward to the challenge. Stay tuned!
