I Don't Know if I'm More Humiliated....

.... or proud!
This morning Ted was getting dressed to take Ash to gymnastics. He was complaining (as he does every morning) that his pants are too big and they fall down all the time. So I, COMPLETELY joking, said "Well hun, you can always wear my fat jeans today!!".

** Just a sidebar: My "fat jeans" are jeans I wore about 6 years ago when I went through an overly chubby period in my life. I keep them around to ensure that I NEVER FIT THEM AGAIN!!! So far, I have been successful!

Ted proceeds to laugh it off and say that never would he fit into them.... GUESS WHAT!!!
Yep, that's right... my husband can fit into my LADIES SIZE 34 JEANS!!!!

As I said, I'm not too sure if I'm completely humiliated or just so gosh darn proud of my man! (Obviously it's the latter, as I'm posting this for you all to read!). He really is inspiring! Love you baby and so proud of how well you're doing in your weight loss journey!

Today I'm Thankful For...

A nice cup of coffee to get me through my editing today! (Ok... and maybe the odd chocolate egg too!!). I figured I'd start simple today and work my way up!

My Girls!!!

Ash got a new beanie and it's just so darn cute that I've been snapping pictures of her all day. Well I guess Jake is a little jealous about losing some attention... he went into my office, grabbed the other beanie (I bought a few different sizes for my prop bag) and put it on. LMAO!!

Ash went and put her new shoes on to "complete the look" and Jake went and put on Ash's new pink boots. TOO FUNNY!!!

Ash's little best friend came over today and of course I couldn't pass up an opportunity to take pictures!! They're just so cute together. They've been bestest buds since birth and now they go to school together. It's a nice little circle as Emily's mommy and I went to school together and are still great friends.

Emily is a tricky little girl to photograph but what a little cutie!

Thought I'd post a few quick shots from this morning's easter egg hunt! Too cute!!



Well this one was from last night at Mom's Easter Dinner... I don't think I even have one picture of me and Jake together, so this one will be treasured!!

Ok, Ted's Gonna Kill Me....

... but I just have to post this... it made me laugh so hard!

Set the scene: Ted has been taking care of the kids ALL day while I work on getting caught up after being sick last week. He takes the kids upstairs for the bath after dinner and I get back to editing. I hear some cursing, some crying, and then get this email from Ted's laptop upstairs:

"YOUR SON IS P!$$ING ME OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and its your fault........you came up here with him and never shut the gate and he clogged our bathroom toilet.....got water everywhere....threw my poker game in the sh*tter.....tampons pulled out and a wad of toilet paper that almost didn't unclog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then im running the bath and he opens the lid to the other sh*tter and is using the toy teapot to scoop up ashleighs PEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COUGH SYRUP and heat tonight in 5 minutes!!!!!!!!!! you maybe the only person to save him!!!!"

Ok... that is HILARIOUS... from my point of view!!!

Ash always talks a good game. She'll come up to me and say "Hey mommy, wanna take some pictures with your light and your paper? I'll pose for you!" (she knows she gets m&m's when she poses for me... so if she needs a fix, she offers up her services!! LOL).

So I get up all excited, set up the equipment, grab the camera, pull down the paper, and get in position. All to be let down and disappointed. She doesn't want pictures taken... she and Jake want to have a dance party on my backdrop... great. I get suckered every time.... but it is kinda cute.... and kinda funny to watch!! LOL

This is What I have to Practice On....

Good luck getting any cooperation out of this guy!!! If he doesn't have scratches and scars all over his face, then he surely has mac and cheese dripping down his chin and covering his shirt. And if he isn't screaming at me to see the picture on the viewfinder he's doing his fake laugh to try and get us to laugh (pictured in the shots below). Try to catch him to clean him up! Yeah right... he'll just freak out till you let him go, and then laugh at you cause you fell for it. LOL

Our OTHER Man!

And the reason I say "Our" man is because I haven't quite decided who loves him more... me or Ted. LOL
Sometimes I think the two of them are going to come to me and Anne-Marie (Jordan's wife) and ask us to step aside and let them be together!! LOL



At any rate, just wanted to post a picture of the great guy! Honestly couldn't ask for a better friend in him and his wife. We love them!! And look at him!!! Not too hard on the eyes either!! :)

My Man...

I got my new lights today and I am SOOOOO excited! Ash was sick, and Jake doesn't model so that leaves Ted!! :)

Isn't he sooo handsome!?!? He's kicking butt and taking names in the Goo Be Gone contest too... he's in third place (for now!) out of 30 contestants and he's just doing so well!! LOVE HIM!!
